In the post-Penguin day and age where unique content and quality posts matter most for SEO, guest blogging has become an increasingly popular way for sites to build whitehat backlinks. Keeping this in mind, we asked one of the best around, Steve Hall of AdRants, what he looks for from guest bloggers for his site.
“I am looking for, generally, things that are in the marketing and advertising space, it doesn’t necessarily have to focus on affiliate marketing or performance marketing, it can be in the broader spectrum,” he told us. “Posts that are educational in the sense, how to, top 10 type stuff will do well on the site, both me for and for the writer, so if they are along those lines they should do quite well.”
