This is very helpful to me
Wow... intricately described... now this noob learned where to make a niche XD
This is an excellent tutorial. Althought it was written in 2009 it is still a must read for newbies!
I think this thread deserves a sticky.
That was like reading the Moneymaking Bible. Trust me... I knew whatever you said and these methods and techniques actually works and are worth reading every single word from OP's thread.
Excellent guide! Helps those who just learnt about internet marketing!
Beautifully crafted tutorial! It just goes to show you, you're never too old to learn something new!

Awesome guide... any chance we could please compile and use this guide/info to build a list???
and/or share with my website visitors/current list of subscribers for free???
Please advise, thanks
Yea this is a great post its similar to what I do, hopefully no one turns this into an ebook for profit as it could have easily been one
This is beatuiful! I love this and am very thank full you made this guide for dummies, every guide should as details as your and we all be happy.
Thank you very much, gonna give this a try!
Wow! I love, I actually seen a video about this and can't remember exactly which it was but he didn't mention about the search methods in google such as using quotations to find my exact competition and the intitle: method! I got a questions though, I know this guide was written back in 2009 and noticed these weren't for exact matches, I've been domaining and still learning about this subject, does exact matches matter for ranking? For example i got 2 niches 1st is going by broad search results of 14,000 and 2nd niche has 3,400 Exact search results, Would it be better to go for the higher broad results domain or the exact match domain for ranking?
Well firstly, well done for getting good rankings, must say that because you havedone the business and attempted to get off the IM chair that most stay sat on. The more long-tailed the search term is, the further down the buying process the visitor is. You should concentrate on the longer tailed if you want a better visit>conversion ratio but don't dismiss thebroader more generic search term.
Excellent post davejug1.
I've also visited your site and it looks like a very good resource. When I eventually start making it big and can afford it, I will give it a go.
Just the free stuff you have is pretty impressive and as soon as I'm comfortable with my current projects and have them running properly I'll definitely give them a shot. I actually did contemplate starting a news site today based on one of your posts, but have decided to wait till I've implemented the things I currently have on my plate (combatting shiny item syndrome ;-)).
Keep up the good work, will keep an eye out for any further posts from you.
Love this kind of in-depth tutorial, no doubt it will benefit all of us for sure.
This was JUST what I needed to start my Im'ing journey. I wish I came across more in depth tutorials like this, I might've had a FEW techniques up my sleeve by now.
Thanks so much!!!

This information is a donation of that extensive knowledge extending back for over half a decade and shortened into a few paragraphs in order to maintain practicability, whilst allowing you to peruse quite quickly.
