    Hi all,

I just made my landing page to build up a game development resource portal. Can anyone give me a little bit of feedback? Is it good on your mobile devices? How's the page loading speed on your network? Stuff like that.

    URL: www.gamedevlib.com

P.S. Be kind with your constructive criticism.

    Hi Qai88,

I’d like to give you my opinion. Since I work in Wishpond, a marketing company that also offers a landing page builder, I can definitely give you some advice on your page.

It’s certainly a good idea to keep the entry form on the top: after all you want visitors to register, so you want them to see the form as soon as they land on your page.

However I suggest you to change several things. I think that dynamic background is a heavy distraction that may take visitors’ attention away from the form. You should put animations somewhere else on your site. If you want conversions try to have a page as simple as possible.

The title (All-in-one game…) seems too big and scattered to me. Try to reduce the size of the font: this way visitors will get it at a first glance.

You should put close to the form your logo, to help creation of brand awareness: you want visitors to associate what you do with who you are.

It’s good to have a subheading like yours (GameDevLib can help…) since you tell your visitor the benefits of getting in touch with you. You could also put bullet points listing your services (Sturdy templates, curative video…): you want your visitors to know immediately what you can do for them.

Place the CTA button a bit further the e-mail field and remember to make the form contrasting with the background to make it more noticeable.

We have also reviewed a web developer landing page on Wishpond blog.
Search for 3 Web Design Landing Page Examples Critiqued on Google.

    I hope it helps.

Your sites doesn't appear to have any formatting, as though there is no css?

Is that how it's meant to be?

quiz tip: google "mobile test" and you'll find a few tools that can render a page's mobile version for you.
