Just an update

I have been sticking to my 1 to 2 hour a day online. It is tough to get much done, but I am determined to do it. I have been torn between offering an online service site or just simple build niche sites. My best bet is to do both. I guess perfect the niche building process first then I will move on to offering a service to build them. I have my price down to roughly 20-30 dollars a site I build and spend about 5 hours on one site. Meaning I can do one a week for now.

Hey man, just be reading through, and thought I would ad my 2 cents.
I see your only planning to work 1-2 hours per day, and although its positive that your making a time lot for each day to work in, it will be hard in the grand scheme of things as you may find yourself loosing focus as other aspects of your life encroach on your committed time. Obviously if possible it would always be nice to make room for more time, as I myself find I can never get any projects finished in 1-2 hours, but can totally understand that with other personal commitments you may not be able to make this possible. In which case an area you may want to look into is time management, and planning. Even if that's using a pen and paper away from the computer, just jot down a daily task list, so that when you do make the time, your making the most of it, and feel geared up, with a nice step by step list of things to do.
It will also help with avoiding distractions online.

I just started yesterday using my phone to jot things down when I am offline. I am still getting completely organized, but I have a feeling when I do I will be set.

I have a job where I am rebuilding starters and alternators and my boss has me building him websites while I work there and deliver as well. The pay keeps me afloat and all, but I am working on my own projects so I can give my family a better life and make it so I can be my own boss.

Your 100% correct in making a step by step list for myself and that is what I am doing now. It makes things much easier when I do make it to me 1-2 hours on the computer. I figure once I can make enough cash online to surpass my job. I will be able to put in 6-8 hours with out the old lady getting all pissed off.

It sounds like your in the same boat as me in terms of other commitments and balancing everything out with a view to eventually building up a substantial income, which is enough to pull you away from your day job. Anyone who has already left there day job has done so with securing a consistent income, and I have to say after reading some of the work you already do, I cant see why this is not a strong possibility for you to achieve you goals in the near future, my only concern is the hours you can commit to the tasks & whether this is enough in order to keep pace with your projects, but im sure others around you will become more understanding when the money starts rolling in. Niche websites as a short term goal are a good things to aim for when consistent streams of income are involved but i definatly feel with what you have described your real business will come with offering services like creation/keyword research/seo & there are many outsourced site models already out there for you to look at on sites like Flippa to get ideas on avenues to cover.

Yes, that is exactly what I am looking at. I want to build niche websites and make the long term income where I only work once and continue to get paid. I will offer the online services to get more up front income. The thing is the upfront income will allow me to replace my day job. I am hoping when the money comes in my kids mom will start to over look the time I have to spend on here. I mean 6 hours a day would give me great income and be less time then a full time job.

Oh yeah I was studying flippa when I had the idea to offer service sites and give them the source as being my main website where I can in turn play the middle man and get the work done by other workers.

Yeah, this is a great approach to take, the hardest part is finding a reliable outsourcer, and this is probably best to do first, then mould your site around it, also this is a very good way to make duplicate sites with the same service and simply flip them over and over. Just and idea :)

Yes that was the idea, but now I am thinking for that site I may just make it an affiliate site for now where I just explain different internet marketing plans. Although finding really good outsourcers would be the key to my original plan. I want to focus more on niche websites since I feel this would be more automated money.

I spent a good amount of the day learning how and testing AMR.

I did manage to start another new niche site. Total niche sites are up to 3. I hope to start getting 5 a week with in the next few weeks.

I hope to have that 100 dollar payout from google after this month. I am working on getting at least 100 dollars a month from google real soon. As long as I can keep building these sites.
I did make my first check from google yeah me, but I am too waiting to get a monthly check that will be a great day when I do that. I recently started using SENUKE X from a remote desktop. It makes it real nice to set up a run then work on my site while it is running on the remote desktop.

I should have noticed that it was my own words. I did not know they made bots like that. Now I do and will watch out for it. Thanks!!!

I am still working on my niche websites, but I realized that all BIG sites now started with an idea and generated a huge user base on that idea.

I am creating a classified site that is geared towards local use. See with Fee-Bay you pay too much into shipping and fees. ******list is filled with ****mers. The site I am working on will be buy local sell local. You could pretty much have a garage sale right on the site. Right now I have it to where it is completely free to post. My plan is to let it grow and then charge them a monthly fee to post. Also make extra cash from local companies putting their banner on my site.

Right now I am in the process of posting all my items from around the house then i will go heavy in to promoting the site.

Thats great man, you may want to look into what we have here in the UK, its a similar site that has grown from local to covering the hole united kingdom.

Code:
[url=http://www.gumtree.com/]United Kingdom jobs, cars, property, free classifieds and more - Gumtree.com[/url]
Hopefully that might help give you some ideas on how to flesh out your site.
Good luck

I am still moving right along with my classified site. I have added a good amount of categories plus a couple articles. I have been posting items and now promoting to others I feel would like to post on the website. I guess you could say I am still in phase 1 of that site. I also have another niche website in the works. I am planning on putting over 300 pages on it to see what happens. Plus, still busty with my main client that pays me 300 a week to work on his sites and do a little around the shop.

That is a good idea.

With my niche websites I got my first Google paycheck this month and I made 48 bucks towards my next Google paycheck. My previous best month was 27 dollars. Plus, I started this local classified site. I even ordered business cards for the classified site to pass around to people doing garage sales. I will post them up in laundry mats as well. Pretty much anywhere I can to get the word out.

Well today I got nothing done other then worked on a clients site all day. We have a huge project on there that will be on going, but the pay is not too bad for what I am doing. 300 a week to build and maintain his sites and also do odd and end jobs around his shop. It keeps the bills paid while I build my niche empire.

$300 a week for building and maintaining sites? you should seriously consider talking Dollars & Cents with your clients, I'm currently partnered with a guy who is doing that for a living and pulls in around $120 a day for building and maintaining sites for a string of hosting companies. Maybe worth looking to increase your client list, get some more local business's on-board which in turn might help you spread the word about you own site, as you can place you advertisements on there site, for a reduced fee over a set period. Just a thought, but i know time to do all of these tasks is slim for us all. Not enough hours in the day. boo!

Yes, I wish I had 48 hours in a day. The bad thing is after I am done working for the 1 solid client I have to do major family time or I will get the boot from my babies mom. She holds all the cards currently. The one client I have is her dad. Although I do see one of my sites is starting to do a bit better.

Been a little while since, I last wrote. I had bad news I was losing my home and my family is going to be living in another house then me. At least I will still have internet where I am going. The downside is not going to be with my family. The plus side is I will be able to focus completely on building my sites. I even have a better plan then paid software to help me out with backlinking. I will be able to put way more hours into building it and feel I should see results with in a year or so. Right now I am just spending as much time with my family as I can before the split.

will do I just now got skype back I had a problem with the computer that caused me to lose everything. Well I thought I had a virus and when I deleted everything off of my hard drive I still had the problem I found out when I switched my mouse out it worked fine. Lesson learned.

Yes, for sure the ones that do not understand IM will doubt until the cows come home. On a side note and I was one of these. Those that think they understand. Will read everything and never do anything. I am now up to 40 a month on autopilot income. Which is head and shoulders above what I had at any other time, but I realize I still have a long way to go.

My new goal is to not use any automated software for backlinking. I am going to try this method about going after sites that allow articles to be posted on their sites. Where I could post an article and a link back to my site. This is what I will sped my time on.
