Reseller is good, but not goog enough
but ok
to get you started you need a hosting billing and tracking software
there are several around
you can test them

You should have a website that is compatible with that program, so it integrates seamlessly and you can have your customers order right off the bat without going crazy

So your best bet would be joomla and whmcs
that is how I have done it

I am actually starting up my own hosting with a twist.

It is also important not to oversell, the webhosting comunity HATES oversellers (unlimited everything) when really it is just saying that you have a fix disk and you will allow people to think it is limitless.

Make a difference, don't be one more of the bunch.

I am actually looking for a JV on this exact topic, when I can post one I will

Though Reseller Hosting is not enough for your Hosting Business, but even then you can earn some bucks if you are a Reseller of good hosting site. Because, right now clients need prompt solution of their problems.

And, also you need a billing software, I would suggest you to go for WHMCS, because it is the user friendly and easy to understand ;)
