GOAL - $5 a day by 31st April 2012 Constant Using Adsense, CB and CPA.

I haven't a clue where to start at the moment. So I am going to find out what everything means first
and the first Term is SERPs.

Done the required checks and it stand for Search Engine Ranking Pages (of some sort)

You want good SERP's - Now I going to find out how.

Thanks for the advice. So I done two things today. I looked at what makes a good keyword and how to check your competion. I won't tell you my keyword - duh!

Okay

1. Around 5000 searches a Month
2. Average $1 per click
3. Low competion.

When you check your competion look at how many competitors use
the keyword in:
1. The url
2. The Title
3. The description
my keyword has one site competing with all 3 so will be easy to beat.
what makes a bonus is my keyword hasnt been bought as a domain.

Time to get cracking. I'm going to secure the domain name now.

IF you recommend any good hosting for wordpress then please let me know.

Go with hostgator, you can't go wrong. Also, be sure you're looking at the "exact searches" on the keyword tool.

I took cashcranks advice about exact searches and that threw me off my topic so I started researching other topics. I found a few
keywords to look at and the cpc of around $1. I then checked my competion and there seems to be alot of people who have already
bought the exact domain names as this is credibly as far as I understand.

I wanted to check a game for content and there is alot of competing websites so that threw me also.
So keyword understanding I can say is almost there.
I am now looking at domain names and analyse the competion.
I also found a way of shadowing the competion ~(not by content) but by copying exactly where they
promote their website.

So my next steps - find a keyword that I can compete agaisnt. This might take some
time and then see if where I can get content (which will mostly be re-written)

I delved a bit into using youtube videos also but DMCA kicks me in the teeth. But surely
there is a way around it if the user offers embedded links.

I have been delving more into keyword research lately and it is more complicated than anything else.
Thank god I have a full time job as you shld only attempt IM part time whilst you are still learning.

You nailed it!

Lots of people make the mistake of quitting there job/education thinking IM will be an easy way out. I think we all no IM takes dedication, commitment, and some luck.

Slowly integrate into your IM career.

Okay I have actually researched how keywords work rather than actually finding keywords.

Alot of people say "exact" match but that is for short term only.

You can start on exact match to get the traffic going but then slowly work
to exact then phrase then broad as broad means it can have your keyword
but used in many different ways so for example what you want to aim for is

keyword
"AWESOME DOC"

you utlimately want your site to be number when for instance if someone types in

"where is DOC the AWESOME guy" <---broad

Now that I have an understanding of how keywords work I am going to find a market
that people are interested in and delve into that.

True. A lot of people say to use "exact" instead of broad.
Exact keyword: types of dogs
Phrase keyword: "different types of dogs"
And the broad is every time those words come anywhere, regardless of their positioning.

So, even so if you try to go for the keyword types of dogs. The keyword itself might be doable. But, if you wish to build a broad/authority site(a site which will target numerous keywords) you will need to spend way more time working/optimizing/advertising/whatever than you would if you to target like 3-4 exact keywords with the highest traffic and low enough competition for you to not spend too much time/money getting on 1st place.

In essence, what I'm saying is, that in your case it is best to build a smaller but more target site, since they are easier to rank and will also yield faster results/money which can be later used to expand your sites faster which in the end means more money on the table and when you are comfortable that you know exactly what you are doing, you can go for a big broad site.

I am still doing market research buy using trends but when I check competition there is
alot. It seems you need to have an edge but I will prevail.

Remember knowledge is power.

At the moment I am back into fiverr and promoting a new service of mine with a collegue I've worked with for years.
It seems JV has always been the way to go for me.

Okay as for my market research. Here is a tip.

Goto the magazine stand and see what is in the adverts in the magazines.
That should give you a good idea of what is selling.
Write loads of ideas down and then run them through market samurai.

I eventually want to be in competition with Britiish Lion and Monopoly.

At the moment just gathering a shit load of funds together. I am also on the sidelines
following Chogi email marketing journal which has caught my attention.

Will have to have a look at what the does in the near future.

When I was doing market research I was thinking making a website doesnt have to be about a particluar brand
or item it can be about anything and you can still make money.

I was really thinking about doing a review site about "My interest" and see how that turns out.

I will be focusing on the competion over the next few weeks.

I started up my fiverr service again and got 6 orders so thats $30 for the day.

I was thinking about marketing and then something hit me dead on. I am going to provide a free service on a particular forum
and gather leads and then promote products as an affiliate connected to my niche.

But im goign to do it differently.....

I outsourced 7 articles.
I have a press release happening and two fiverr gigs for backlinks.

Looking forward to see resutls in a couple of weeks.

Okay so thinhs aren't going well at the moment as I'm doing this part time and RL work has caught up with me so I had to put things on hold.

I will concetrating on one keyword with my new site today and will be buying a domain name shortly. Guys make sure you research first before jumping in the fire.

Well Well Well, it has been a long time since I updated this.

Okay so far I have 7 sites up to date with content getting posted 3 times a week. My sites are bringing me on average around $900 a month at the moment. I am happy with the results since 3 months ago since I last posted. I haven't been active on here so I do apologies for that.

I make my money through amazon only so the money is there and my secret is to target brand new products or products that will be released in 2 - 5 weeks.
Do some research and write some content. Have a 4% keyword density in your articles for one keyword only and when first starting out post 1 article per day.

At the moment for 4 of my sites I have written around 40 articles for each site and have sheduled them to post every 3 days. Google loves fresh content.

Now since my sites are taking off I have also ventured into email marketing.
I started with having an ebook written and then offer that to my list. I have around 103 subcribers since I started two weeks ago and have had one sale for $16.
My mail broadcast goes out on tuesday which I hope to pull in at least 4 sales making me $30. I will be happy.

I really do want to post tuts here for you guys/girls/jedis to learn email marketing as this is what everyone is talking about.

Are you shocked. I am because I used to be one of those not so long ago that begged for people to me and one the mods if they can, can grab a screenshot from VIP area begging others to fill in CPA offers for me. Please mods grab that and post the screenshot here so newbies can see that with hard work you can go from a nothing to nearly $1000 a month in 3 months.

Okay so next steps are.

Backlinking
Build my list
and I am now starting my own SEO services which I will pay a seperate thread for.
