wow ... this thread really open my eyes about niche.
you explain it in a simple manner ... even for a noob like me
thank you very much Jay.
I'm waiting for next update
now I have questions :
1. how do you link to products from amazon and third party?
2. what service you use for the payment ...I meant do you use pp, ap etc? and how do you link to that?
can you explain these in the next update.
sorry if I ask to much, I've been searching for a clear step by step explanation like this.
again .... thanks in advance for the good share bro.
Thanks for the kind words! It's always nice to help a brother out!
In response to your questions:
1) To link to amazon products so that you'll make a commission just join the Amazon affiliate program and you can get an affiliate link to promote any products they have on the website.
2) Amazon pays me by Check. You can also choose to be paid by direct deposit or through Amazon gift vouchers though!
Hope this helps!
Part Four...
It's been a bit over a month since my last update and I've been pretty bogged down with other projects so haven't done a hell of a lot on this one but I have made a few updates and am continuing to see steady growth.
Added bigger call-to-action buttons...
I decided to add some bigger, more prominent call-to-action buttons to each product to increase the number of click throughs and sales:
Amazon does an awesome job at converting your traffic with all of their product suggestions, reviews and other sales material so if you can simply drive more people to their site then they will close the sales for you!
Added a social article...
Search engines like to see people sharing and liking pages from your website so to add a bit of a 'social' boost to my site I wrote and added an article to my website that's designed to get people to 'share' it... think of it as 'sharebait':
In the middle of the article I've also added a link to my homepage with the main keyword that I am targetting
'Wine Aerator' as the anchor text:
I then just submitted this article to a few social bookmarking websites like Digg and Reddit and shared it in a few wine related Facebook groups.
Sales are improving...
Since my last update I've made another 15 sales:
(Update is continued below. Forum would only let me post 4 images in a post so I had to break this one into two parts...)
