Has anybody ever used NationwideAdvertising.com ?

It is a service that will post your ad to thousands of US newspapers for a fee that seems too good to be true.... an ad in a number of newspapers with a total of 1,000,000 circulation for $175 .... with the right CPA offer you would only need 6-10 leads to break even...

Does anybody have experience with this site and maybe some feedback on the results?

I remember one guy a few years ago was selling a ebook, contained links to all the offline and online advertising resources, including newspapers and classifieds.

Then he mystically disappeared. I bought a few ebooks from him. Recently I tried to find his stuff on my hard drive, but failed.

I remember one thing. In almost every US state you can find a wholesale advertising agency, that sells cheap newspaper ad places in different local newspapers with large circulations. They usually have sites where you can order cheap ads.

And he also recommended nationwideadvertising.

Some of the IM gurus run ads on these sites.

I never tested nationwideadvertising, maybe it works.

When it sounds to good to be true... than it usually is... Personally I bought some advertising with with them for like $40 or so and did not receive 1 click. It could of been what I was running or my placements who knows. If I was to do it again I would run a biz opp or a grant offer. The bad thing about this is we don't know witch news paper/magazine will convert better for us so testing a lot is going to be costly. If your going to throw it out there I would ask them if they you can make a different link for each newspaper so you could track it.

Also if your going to be doing offline methods why not pick a top city in the US Purchase one spot in a news paper and see how it go's first than scale up to other cities.. Just my .0000002

I have friends who have used them with reasonable success.

Thank you very much for the ripoff report! the ripoff was that they kept charging his CC year after year. So I guess using paypal (and taking care to avoid subscriptions) instead of CC should help prevent similar incidents. The question is, do they deliver?

If you read through the old issues of the Gary Halbert letter, you'll find the contact info for a woman who brokers remnant space in newspapers all over the country. It wouldn't be as cheap as nationwide advertising, but according to the letter, she can get 1/4 page ads for $2.50 cpm

Of course, you need to know certain things before you can decide if it will be profitable at this price, but a well written ad would probably do the trick.

You do realize that these are totally different guys? These are placemat ppl..nationwideadvertising.com (the offline magazine ad folks) are a different business. Just happen to have same domain name...

nationwideadvertising is legit. I was close to using them, and had some email discussion with them, and a few blackhat people recommended them back in the day. Unfortunately I never went through with it, as my advertising funds got depleted for the campaign I had in mind.

I have not tried them ... but I am always looking for traffic sources to test, I realize one thing I have been in this business too long before I started making any money normally because I was afraid to test. It is good to get other people advice if you are talking about investing a whole lot, but I checked some of the prices on this site and for what they are charging I would say test your offer but make sure the offer is converting already.
