i purchased hosting through hostmywarez on 7/8/10 but never recieved an email with my cpanel username/password and nameservers. i tried emailing them twice about it. finally on the 10th i get back an email asking what my domain is. god i paid on the 8th and now its the 12th AND I STILL CANT EVEN LOGIN! my page just says suspended when you visit. i wish i would have seen this thread before purchasing. they literally ARE NEVER IN LIVE CHAT. ive checked seriously like 20 times in the last four days. its cheap so i guess you get what you pay for but when they tout about their customer service and then when it sucks balls, well.... it sucks balls. they OBVIOUSLY need more support staff. i never feel the need to flame people or companies publically when theres a problem. its usually easier and you get better results when you handle it between two adults. but when its ignored for whatever reason... i dont know what else to do but warn others. oh and heres the kicker: i get an email that theyre updating and to not login to cpanel for the day. DONT WORRY CHIEF, NO CAN DO THANKS TO YOU!

well to be technically fair, he's not stealing, he's just not providing ANYWHERE CLOSE to the service he advertises. And yeah, Germany is technically "offshore" from the US but usually when I think offshore i think Netherlands or China but what do I know; as long as i can do what I want on the webspace I don't care about that aspect. But yeah, service sucks absolute balls. Since the day I've signed up I've been in a nonstop effort to get in contact with only minimal results. I've checked the "online support" EVERY DAY, TWICE A DAY and it has never been "online" for chats. And the email support is useless (I'm waiting on an email from them as we speak. i wont hold my breath. to be fair this email was only sent yesterday but I'd be incredibly surprised if he emailed me back today. Prolly in a day or two if past history serves.) PLEASE HIRE MORE SUPPORT PEOPLE, ASKING FOR SUPPORT SHOULDN'T FEEL LIKE ASKING FOR MEDICINE IN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY! I've said my piece. </rant>

If you read all the emails you sent you would of known that the server is no longer in Germany, it's in The Netherlands. And We have answered all emails and I'm sure we don't leave emails a day old. You have maybe sent them to the wrong place? Also we have support tickets, please try to fill out one of those if you are having trouble with emails. We are not 24/7 on live chat and no where on our site says we are. We are on live chat 2-8 hours a day eastern USA time. If you cannot reach us via live chat make a support ticket.

I decided the easiest way to get in touch with you would just be through mmd since email is near impossible. yes, i do imagine in the member section that there is a support sections for support tickets. i guess its just a tad bit misleading when your homepage reads and let me quote: "24/7 Email Support: [email protected]" in large font at the top and then at the bottom it says "QUESTIONS?", HostMyWarez specializes in customer satisfaction - Email Us With Your Questions. Or you can chat live with us, just click the 'Live Support' button below." then it also RELINKS to [email protected] email adress with still no mention of support tickets. I try to add an addon domain which said wasn't support on my account but it clearly states that EVERY PLAN has addon domains (HostMyWarez.com - Fast Reliable Offshore Web Hosting) even the smallest plan has 5 addon domains. I was like "UGGGGGGHHHH NOT AGAIN!!!#@#!~~~!!!" mostly not because there was another problem, just that i knew it'd be like pulling teeth to get a prompt answer. Even though your support is the worst I've ever had (you are the 4th or 5th host I've had, 2 of them offshore and no big problems at all with any of them except yours.) which is why when i didnt recieve an email back (surprise surprise) i just decided to cut my losses but not before one of two things happens:

1. this is a wakeup call for you and you start operating it with the services you say you provide and MOST IMPORTANTLY HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE- SOOO IMPORTANT IN A HOSTING COMPANY. Integrity is suuuch an invaluable trait to have in a field like yours. (Like I told you sometimes it feels like you just stumbled on a WSO ebook on starting a hosting company and gave it a whirl.)

2. i make sure fellow mmd members dont have to waste their time/money like i did if you continue business as you have so far.

and dude, im telling you riiiight now eastern time is only 3 hours ahead of us and you saying you are on online chat 2-8hrs a day is seriously a 100% bold face lie. ive been checking that damn thing a couple times a day, even times WHEN YOU SAY youre in online chat. i guess maybe the online/offline graphic doesn't work..? that can seriously be the ONLY explaination cause otherwise im sorry buddy but youre lying to save your ass in a public forum. im completely done dealing with you, your company and this thread. i dont even want a refund, it was only a few bucks (but i still never even got uploaded/edited or do ANYTHING with the hosting the whole time i had it due to the reasons explained above like not getting a username/password until 4-5 days after they charged me.) kinda ironic how well their payment/billing system works like a well oiled machine but the support is all but a myth. i know youre probably just going to say that I have some chip on my shoulder and im just slandering you. first off, like i said ive had a few pretty good relationships with some hosting companies (including the one im heading back to now) so i dont really have any reason to slander a complete stranger's company for no good reason. second, im not some 3 post newbie that registered yesterday and made an acct just to flame you. i dont have a ton of posts but none of them are flaming people or starting shit. TBH, the concept and pricing you have is sooo incredibly attractive for a hosting company, I just wish you guys had your ducks in a row. and finally, im for sure not the only one to have issues with your service, especially the support ie. henrique1966's posts in this thread and a COMPLETE whole thread telling people to steer clear from HMV. Lesson learned.

if i have it wrong, please let me know, like i said this isn't a persona attack of any kind and i sincerely apologize if it does.

We are sorry for any distress we have sent you. But you must know, we are not a onshore hosting company. Things aren't done with speed as you would see with onshore hosts. We are offshore; support warez linking, porn, nulled scripts, porn, and streaming.

i will take him up on the month. as well as come back with a hopefully positive review. if the issues get resolved and there is some more valid communication and online chat support. like i said im really not out to just slander some random person/company, i thought i gave an honest review. but with the price and the right fixes/tweaks to problems mentioned in the other posts i will have no problem giving a good review and reccomending you too.

got to say i have been with them for several months now and had nothing but problems

database errors

got moved to 2 different servers and still had the same problems.

the hosts got hacked my site was defaced and databases deleted and now my site is down all together!

i asked for my site to be restored from a full back up that i have (even though it is nearly 1 month old and i have lost members and posts etc.. nothing else i can do) and this is the response i got

i provide a link to the full site backup and it should easily be restored in WHM i even gave a tutorial on how to do it lol

it takes more than 2 days to answer support tickets and when they do answer its not the best help if not useless.

the online support is not that great either

i asked John a question this morning and got no reply then he logged off an hour later.

it takes more than 2 days to answer support tickets and when they do answer its not the best help if not useless.

After all the complaints why do people keep using this host is beyond me. I told you Pow they are crap. He put together some BS stuff just so he could terminate me. At least they are answering support tickets now because they were not doing it at all.

He has a bad rep on every forum you go to and people are still using them because they are cheap. It is a big difference between price and cost. And their cost is extremely high.
