What antivirus do you recommend ?

I use Kaspersky Antivirus personal 6.0 and i`m satisfied but i heard that there are other antivirus software wich are more good ! what do you people use ?

To be honest with you those 2 are about the worst you can have. Kaspersky and Panda Platnium are about the best you can have.

I use Kaspersky Antivirus. It does an awesome job protecting the system from malicious software.

I've tried Norton, but it takes a long time to load on startup, compared to Kaspersky.

If you google up the top antivirus, as I did during my queries, you'll notice Kaspersky being around the top 5.

try to use a ZOne Alarm Firewall + antivirus Im using all the time this program and Im feelying safe

I use norton anitvirus and sygate personal firewall pro. Sygate is not expensive and it is really nice. It will ask you before it lets anything access the internet but if you get tired of having to click yes or no then you can simplny click "remember my answer". As for the norton, I haven't had a virus I know of so..must not be to bad.

We're using SOPHOS Anti-virus here in our office and I think it's effective. So far, I have not encounter any virus in my computer as well as with my other officemates computer.

AVG and Kaspersky better for me. but for additional scan, we better have portable anti virus too. Don't rely on just one antivirus, becoz we all no, nothing is perfect. Besides, portable AV don';t have to install and don;t have to make a startup. It's very small in size and only use for additional scaning of virus. So i recommend it.

I use NOD32 and PC Media Antivirus at same times
NOD 32 is nice antivirus it automatic detect and clean virus fast and so light to use

PC MAV is the best antivirus program in Indonesia. It can combine with other antivirus ^^ and thats really able to removed all Indonesians virus 100%

Yes.. its small. I got the install from m friends in LAn and he teach me how to maximize the protection ^^

My INternet provide forbidden me to use AVG. They said if the free version is make virus which only able to be deleted with AVG pro. I dont know.. that why we cant use AVG here

As for me I think Avira is good enough to handle your system protection issues. It is very efficient and does not eat up your ram.
