Alt Tags- Are They ALWAYS Good?

Wow, this on-page optimization is making me ask a lot :redface:

Should I put alt tag on every picture? Even when it's not related to the keyword (let's say "buy now" picture)?

Yes you should, because search engines can't see pictures like humans can so you should use the alt tags to tell them what the picture is about.

While pictures themselves will not bring in a lot of traffic, they still do bring in some and in SEO every bit helps so the answer is yes.

Don't Over Use any Keyword With All The Images.

Simply to Answer Your Question - Yes It's IMP to Use ALT Tags to All Images. But Off-Page Optimize Your Web-pages Relatively...

For Example - You Can Include Your Main Keyword as an ALT Tag Into Your LOGO but Not in Every Images You Place in your Website or Blog.

I did, it was exactly my concern. Since it's a selling site, I have to make it all clean and decent. I thought that if a picture is unrelated to the keyword I'm targeting, a "buy now" alt won't donate anything. But now I do get it.

Hi, just use 2-4words in alt tags and it helps, you know in seo every lil bit helps!
